The novel, Great Expectations, presents the storyline of a boy growing up and becoming a

gentleman. He must learn to appreciate persons for who they will be, not really shun them for who they arenВ’t.

Nicknamed Pip, Philip Pirrip, the key character, undergoes many changes in his personality, as he's

influenced by various people. Pip activities a down economy as a boy and a man, but towards the end he has

become a fine, morale son.
